Cattle Processing Class & Top Hand Interest Meeting/Training

Whether you're new to cattle or preparing for competition, this hands-on training is for you!

Training Topics

• Proper cattle vaccination techniques

• Ear tagging and animal identification

• Deworming procedures

• Tissue sampling

• Safe, low-stress cattle handling

• Processing teamwork and chute safety

Open to participants of all ages. Farmers, parents, students, and anyone interested in learning proper cattle-processing techniques are encouraged to attend.

Students interested in competing in the Georgia Top Hand Contest will receive contest-specific instruction and practice. The Top Hand Contest is open to students in grades 8–12.
